Where is a great place i can see clear shooting stars in central florida?

Anywhere that's away from city lights, where you have a nice, clear view of the sky. Generally, you'd want to go higher - the mountains are great places to see the sky, above as much of the atmosphere as you can get; But Florida is the wrong state to look for mountains....Where is a great place i can see clear shooting stars in central florida?

I was in Key West when Halley's comet was around, and I remember that even that far away from Miami, there was still light pollution from that city.

You would be able to see meteors in any place that is far away from the city. I am not from FL, but the farther away you get from lights in any state, the better chance you have of seeing meteors.
