I live in Riverside CA and for the last weeks I've seen a big bright ';star'; in the direction of L.A. specially in clear nights like tonight 02/18/09. Has someone else see it? Is it a planet? It's really hard to miss because is huge!Is it a planet what I've seen on clear nights in the sky? It's to big to be a star.?
If it's in the south west in the evening, then it's the planet Venus - at it's brightest about now and visible for about another month before it moves to the morning sky.Is it a planet what I've seen on clear nights in the sky? It's to big to be a star.?
look at it in a telescope and see for yourself.
