Star sign (Someone help me clear my doubts please!)?

Hello guys, i have a question bout star sign, i was born on 6th july , so my star sign should be cancer but theres a werid thing, i read up star sigh leo and 90% of star sign leo matches me, how come ? I should be cancer but why my character matches leo ............. or i should not believe in this,lol..Star sign (Someone help me clear my doubts please!)?
This is because this is Astrology psuedoscience. They use vague descriptions for everything so it seems they match up, do you actually think the month you were born in determines who you are, not something like genetics or how you were reared as a child? To be frank, the reason is that astrology (note the ';L';, as opposed to the ';N'; -- astronomy = studying the stars and the universe, astrology = trying to make supernatural predictions based on the movements of the various bodies present in our sky) is complete BS. There are several reasons for this:





1) There is absolutely no way to predict one's future based on what bodies that are hundreds of light years away are doing. There is no scientific reason to believe that you'll suddenly have bad luck just because a certain constellation is closer to the centre of the sky than it was last week.





2) Some astrologers insist that the forces exerted by distant planets and stars affect your personality at birth, but this is also quite impossible. The doctor who delivered you exerts more gravity, et al. upon you than distant stars do. Even the moon, which is relatively close to the Earth when compared with other celestial bodies, exerts very little force upon your body. Our planet is the only mass that affects us via various forces in any significant way (excluding the effects the heat and radiation from the sun has on us, of course), and since every single human being is born on earth, if planetary forces affected one's personality, we'd all have the same personality from being born on the same planet.





3) Even if there was any truth to astrology, the charts mapping out the zodiac were created so long ago that they wouldn't be accurate anymore. For instance, someone like me who was born in late October would have been considered a Scorpio back then, but the positions of the stars/planets would make me a completely different sign in modern times.





Long story short, you don't match your birth sign because the stars/planets don't determine your personality; it's your genetic makeup and the experiences you have in life that shape who you are.

try to only believe in things that are real.

Yes, I agree with you. You SHOULD be cancer. I don't know what it is saying about you being Leo. Would you rather be Leo or Cancer. You now have a choice. Oh and by the way, this is the Astronomy %26amp; Space section you would get a thorough and more detailed response from the Astrology section. :)
Astronomy and believing in the zodiac are completely opposite concepts.


I myseld believe that the Zodiacs should not be mentioned in the same breathe as Astronomy. This purely my own opinon as a purist,

Otherwise pay it no heed. Astronomers don't give any credence to astrology.
No offence, but you see, there are many people around here who don't give a damn about Astrology. Try this in the horoscope section, and you'd get much better results.

Your mom obviously lost your birth certificate when you were a baby. The 6th of July was her best guess, and so you grew up thinking so. Thanks to your insight however, you now know you are a Leo, and therefore your birthday cannot possibly be July 6th, because we all know that astrology is the be-all end-all scientific argument! So, better take this evidence in with your false birth certificate and get it changed.
