What kind of thoughts do you have when looking at the stars on a clear night?

I am kind of a nerd when looking at the stars. I was up one night past midnight. The stars are great to look at in the fall. I say I am a nerd because I my head turns like a Satellite when looking up. I saw the big and little dipper and the belt. My mind wonders about the stars and I get a feeling I can't explain or put into words.

You are not a nerd. You are a human being. Since the beginning of time mankind has gazed up into the night sky and wondered.


I remember laying on my back with my son looking up at the stars one night when there were lots of shooting stars.


I visualize people miles away looking at the same stars. I know that people on the other side of the planet just 12 hours earlier were looking at these same stars.


I imagine people looking at these same stars hundreds and even thousands of years ago. I bet they could see even more stars because of less smog and light interference.


I think; as big as this planet is, it is so very small. I am so very, very small.


I think of life on other planets and space travel and God.


I wonder; How vast is the universe? What's beyond the stars? How much time and space is there? Will ';Earthlings'; ever meet intelligent life from another planet?


I don't care if someone thinks I'm a ';nerd.'; Wondering and wandering expands ones mind and world and sense of self.What kind of thoughts do you have when looking at the stars on a clear night?
When i look at the stars i have this really nice thought well i believe that god has made a couple feyone and when i look at the stars i wonder what my future husband might look like and were he is at the moment. I no its weird but i just look at the stars and ask god to make me meet him as soon as possible because im sure wereever he is he might be waiting for me to comeaswell. tc hope this one helped aswell and you ask some interesting questions your not the star sign aries by any chance r u?
well i got this crazy thought: u know when u use a telescope to see the stars better? Well, you know that stars take light-years just to reach earth right? So...when u cant see a star it means it hasn't arrived to earth yet BUT u can if u use a telescope... At that time i was like, ';whoa, i can manipulate time?!';
when i look at the stars i think it is incredible ow far away we are from them, how much smaller we are next to them and how amazing there are. there are so many different stars and they all have diffent kinds of energy some more powerfull then the sun! yeah am a nerd 2
I get an overwhelming sense of fear and excitement for what is to come, for the unknown and for the endless opportunities to discover, explore, learn, do and live just about anything in this universe and life.
the fact that the universe is soo huge! i love looking at the different constellations that are visible. and following the moon phases is sort of a big deal to me:)
Ya I've had weird thoughts and feelings sometimes when I look at the stars. I wonder%26gt;%26gt;How in the hell did this all happen??? And you are NOT a nerd!!!!! Just exploring the universe. Theres nothing wrong with that.
I kinda have the same problem.I kinda get butterflies when I look at the stars.Its kinda embarrassing. And ur not a nerd! The stars are really amazing.Never think that of yourself.
The thought that I am very, very, very small and insignificant.
I just feel really small and short. Then, I wonder if man will ever see the stars that I'm gazing at up close. After that, I go back to bed (I keep irregular hours).
The fact that a grain of sand held at arm's length towards the sky covers 10,000 galaxies.

well...sometimes I would just say.....Are we all humen are alone....is any one out there..?
is there other types of what we would call life out there.?

Cats
