Everytime im at the ocean at night and the sky is clear, I see what looks like a star but?

it starts zigzaging and doing alot of random movements. Im not the only one who sees it so it's not me trippin. What is it?Everytime im at the ocean at night and the sky is clear, I see what looks like a star but?
Actually it is your head moving. Your looking at a point of light on a solid field. With nothing in the background to stabalize the image in your brain, it is the equivelent of a hand held camcorder with no stabalization. Thus your mind see the movement not of your head, but of the sky.





You are probably seeing venus, mercury, serius, or polaris, which are brighter objects and do not require a completely dark sky to see.Everytime im at the ocean at night and the sky is clear, I see what looks like a star but?
What direction are you looking? What time is it visible? How high is it? We need a lot more information in order to identify it. I don't understand the zigzaging and motions; perhaps there is something wrong with your nervous system.
